It is with sadness we advise the passing of Jack Pascal on Saturday 23 August. 2026.
A former member of the Mauritius Police Band who emigrated to Australia in 1969, joining Southern Command Band under Colin Fischer.
Jack is remembered as a valued member of the band playing first clarinet and entertaining many audiences as the band singer. Jack was a respected Band Corps member, serving over 20 years and saw the band transition from Southern Command to 3rd Military District Band (3MD Band) in the 1970’s.
After band life Jack was employed with the County Court of Victoria.
Our condolences go out to Jack’s children Moreen and Perry and their extended family.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Jacques will be held at Tobin Brothers North Melbourne Chapel – 189 Boundary Road, North Melbourne on Tuesday 1st September, 2026 commencing at 2.00pm. Private Cremation.
