11 July 2025 Mario Vidal passed away in the morning of Sunday 6 July 2025 after a long illness. Mario served in the RAE Band at Casula and also later when the RAE Band moved to Kapooka, Wagga Wagga in 1959. Mario later saw active service in Vietnam. Your Duty Done.

13 March 2025 Harry Weston passed away recently in Perth, WA. Harry was a cornet/trumpet player and had served in the British Army as well as 1MD, 5MD, 6MD and NQAB Bands.
