Date for assembly at The Herdy is now booked for 21st March, arriving from 1130 hrs. Cake and any further celebrations for George Franklin, 104 years (birthday 11th March 1922) making him the oldest active band leader on the planet. This invitation is open to anyone, including members of his big band. Wife, partner, friends, all welcome. The original ideal of a simple get-together still prevails,
