News that Colin Fischer is currently in Yass hospital with pneumonia. He has been there for 2 weeks and is recovering very slowly. We have been advised it’s hard for Colin to receive phone calls as someone has to physically be there to help him.
Update
Colin is in the RSL LifeCare – Fred Ward Gardens Residential Aged Care facility in Curtin ACT. He was in good spirits and is being well looked after. He doesn’t converse much however you know he listens to everything that is being said as he responds in other ways. Elva reads to him regularly all the comments and wishes that were posted to the original Facebook notice. She said that he is moved by being remembered by so many people.
